Wer es ausfüllt
Nur Personen, deren Herkunftsdomizil Zypern ist, die aber ein Wahldomizil im Ausland geltend machen, meist nach Option 1(a) des T.D.38. Laut Formular ist er nicht für Antragsteller zyprischer Herkunft gedacht, die vor dem Steuerjahr 2015 mindestens 20 aufeinanderfolgende Jahre nicht ansässig waren (1995–2014).
Was beigefügt wird
- Amtliche Dokumente, die das Land belegen, in dem Sie Ihr Domizil geltend machen
- Kopie Ihres ausländischen Reisepasses oder ein anderer Nachweis einer weiteren Staatsbürgerschaft
- Eigentumsnachweis, Vertrag oder Mietvertrag für jede Wohnung, die Sie im Ausland unterhalten, und für Ihre eigene Wohnung in Zypern
- Nachweis von Bankkonten und Kreditkarten außerhalb Zyperns
- Eine Rechnung oder Korrespondenz Ihres hauptsächlichen Anwalts, Buchhalters und Bankers oder Finanzberaters
- Eine Gehaltsabrechnung oder ein Arbeitsvertrag bei Angestellten oder eine Ansässigkeitsbescheinigung des anderen Landes bei Selbstständigen

Häufige Fehler
- T.D.38QB ausfüllen, obwohl Sie nicht mit zyprischem Domizil geboren wurden. Die meisten Zugezogenen brauchen nur T.D.38 und T.D.38QA.
- Antworten ohne Nachweise. Viele Fragen verlangen Eigentumsnachweise, Auszüge, Rechnungen oder eine ausländische Ansässigkeitsbescheinigung.
- Die Kästchen für Anlagen am Ende leer lassen.
- Antworten, die Ihren Aufenthaltstagen widersprechen. Wenn Sie die meisten Tage in Zypern verbringen, erklären Sie, warum und wie das zu einem Domizil im Ausland passt.
- Ihn allein einreichen. Er gehört zu T.D.38 und T.D.38QA.
Fragen
Wer muss das T.D.38QB ausfüllen?
Personen mit zyprischem Herkunftsdomizil, die ein Wahldomizil im Ausland geltend machen, typischerweise nach Option 1(a) des T.D.38. Auch T.D.38QA verweist Antragsteller zyprischer Herkunft, die in einem der Jahre 1995 bis 2014 ansässig waren, auf diesen Fragebogen.
Was ist ein Wahldomizil?
Laut Tax Department liegt es vor, wenn Sie sich in einem Land mit der Absicht niederlassen, dort dauerhaft oder auf unbestimmte Zeit zu leben, beurteilt nach den Tatsachen und Ihrem Verhalten.
Was ist die 20-Jahres-Ausnahme?
Eine Person mit zyprischem Herkunftsdomizil kann als nicht domiziliert (Non-Dom) behandelt werden, wenn sie ein Wahldomizil im Ausland erworben hat und beibehält und vor dem Steuerjahr mindestens 20 aufeinanderfolgende Jahre nicht in Zypern steuerlich ansässig war.
