Who fills it in

The owner or importer of a used M1 vehicle (passenger car) that is being registered in Cyprus for the first time, for example a car you bring from another EU country.

What goes with it

A copy of the vehicle's last registration document (title of ownership) from abroad, as the form says

Common mistakes

Forgetting the copy of the foreign registration document. The form says it is attached.
Leaving technical lines empty. Copy each value, such as the engine code and unladen weight, from the registration document or certificate of conformity.
Using it for a new car. The form is for used M1 vehicles registered in Cyprus for the first time.
Leaving it until registration day. Customs already asks for the RTD CO₂ certificate when clearing a used passenger car from the EU.

What is TOM 118?

The Road Transport Department application for a certificate of combined-cycle CO₂ emissions for a used M1 car being registered in Cyprus for the first time.

What is the difference between TOM 118, TOM 119 and TOM 119A?

TOM 118 is the request. The RTD registration page calls the resulting emissions certificate TOM 119; the Customs page refers to the CO₂ certificate needed at clearance as TOM 119A.

Why does the CO₂ figure matter?

Customs asks for it when clearing a used passenger car from another EU country, and Cyprus road tax is based on CO₂ emissions.

Is there an English version?
