Permit renewals in Cyprus

Most permits are renewed every year or every few years. We track renewal dates and help collect updated documents. You or your authorised professional submit the renewal application before the permit expires.

Questions

What if my permit expires before the decision?

Keep the stamped fee receipt with your passport: it shows the application is pending. For staff of companies of foreign interests the Migration Department says the receipt also allows re-entry to Cyprus; on other permits, check before you travel. File inside the window so the permit does not lapse.
