Questions

Can my pet fly in the cabin?

Depends on the airline and the pet's size.

Does my dog need quarantine in Cyprus?

Only if the rules are not met. Then the pet may be sent back, kept in isolation or quarantine for the time needed to meet the rules, at your cost, or subjected to other measures provided by law.

Which dog breeds are banned in Cyprus?

Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro and crosses where these traits dominate. Savannah and Bengal cats are banned unless F5 or later.

How early should I start preparing to move a pet to Cyprus?

From an unlisted country, about four months before travel, because of the blood test and wait. Otherwise allow at least 21 days after the rabies vaccine.

How old must a puppy or kitten be to enter Cyprus?

At least 105 days.
