Temporary housing on arrival in Cyprus

Most people rent a furnished flat for one to three months while they search for a long-term home. We shortlist short lets that accept contracts suitable for registration where possible and plan the dates around your move.

Common mistakes

  • Booking a short let whose advert has no registration number. A furnished villa, house or flat may be advertised or let short-term only if it is registered with the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
  • Accepting a booking or receipt without the registration number. It must appear in all transactions related to the property.
  • Relying on a short-let agreement for permit or other registrations. Plan the long-term search early instead.

What affects the cost

The price depends on your situation. We explain the scope and expected costs before work begins.
