Can you drive in Cyprus with a foreign licence?
An EU or EEA licence stays valid for as long as it is valid at home. A licence from a country on the Road Transport Department's list must be exchanged after six months of stay. Other non-EU licences cannot be exchanged this way, so the holder takes the Cyprus test. We check your licence before you move.
How do you exchange a driving licence in Cyprus?
You apply to the Road Transport Department with the original licence, your passport and your residence document. A certified translation is needed if the licence is not in Greek or English. We check that your country is on the list, prepare the form and book the visit, so the exchange is done in one trip.
