Hiring and relocating staff in Cyprus

Hiring in Cyprus starts with the route for each person. EU citizens can start work at once and register within four months; non-EU staff need a work permit, which takes about 4 weeks on the fast track through the Business Support Centre and up to 4 months on the standard route, or up to 90 days for an EU Blue Card. We register the employer, prepare the permit files, write the employment contracts, run payroll and social insurance every month and relocate staff and their families. Where the law requires a licensed employment agency or an advocate, they sign that part.
