Questions
Is it safe to use a currency transfer company in Cyprus?
Use firms licensed by the Central Bank of Cyprus or an EU regulator and listed in the Central Bank's registers.
How do I check if a money transfer company is licensed in Cyprus?
Search the Central Bank of Cyprus registers. They list payment and e-money institutions authorised in Cyprus, with their agents and branches, and EU firms that serve clients here.
Can a UK-licensed firm transfer my money in Cyprus?
The registers cover only Central Bank of Cyprus and EU authorisations, so a UK-only licence will not appear there. Choose a firm that is listed.
