How it works
From your first question to the day you are settled, we coordinate the steps in one plan.
1. Tell us your situation
Send a short form or book a free call. Tell us who is moving, from which country, what you want to do in Cyprus (work, retire, study, run a company, hire staff) and by when. No documents are needed at this stage, and the first call costs nothing.
A coordinator replies within one working day. If you prefer to look around first, the guides, the official forms explained and the free tools show the rules, documents and costs, each with its official source and the date it was checked.
2. Get a plan and a document checklist
Within two to three working days of the first call, your coordinator sends a plan: which services you need, in which order and how long each step usually takes. With it comes a checklist of the documents to prepare at home before you travel, including which need an apostille or a certified translation. Many moves depend on one step coming before another, for example a residence permit before a bank account, or a company before the work permit of its first employee. The plan puts those in order so you do not wait twice.
3. Agree the work
Before paid work begins, we set out the scope, the steps and the timing in writing. Your contract is with CyprusPermit, and CyprusPermit issues the invoice. Government fees are listed separately with their official source.
4. We prepare the file
When your documents arrive, we check them against the official list, fill in the forms and prepare the file, usually within one to two weeks; documents from abroad can take longer. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what and why. Work that Cyprus law reserves to advocates or auditors is signed by a licensed advocate or ICPAC-registered auditor.
5. We file it
We submit the application and book the appointments. Where you must appear in person, for example for biometrics, we tell you where and when and what to bring. Appointment dates depend on the department, usually from a few days to a few weeks.
6. We follow up until the decision
We track the application, answer the department's questions and send any further documents until the decision, then remind you of renewals and deadlines. You can see your cases, messages and dates in your client portal and write to us in the chat.
What it costs you
The first call and the initial plan are free. Before any paid work begins, we confirm its scope and price in writing. Government fees, translations and other external costs are listed separately.
What we do not do
We are not a law firm or a government office, and we do not promise how an authority will decide. General information on this site is not legal or tax advice for your case. We do not sell property or handle cases in the north of the island.
