Who fills it in
The seller (current registered owner) and the buyer of a vehicle registered in Cyprus, including hire purchase, co-ownership and transfers as security or pledge.
What goes with it

- Insurance certificate in the buyer's name, expiring more than three months after the transfer date

Common mistakes
- Corrections or correction fluid. The note says such a form is not accepted; start a clean copy.
- Insurance that runs out too soon. It must expire more than three months after the transfer date.
- Signing apart without certification. If you do not both attend, each signature must be certified by a community leader or certifying officer.
- Filling in several ID lines. Use only the one document you identify with.
- Forgetting TOM 120A when the car has no valid MOT.
Questions
Is TOM 9G the same as TOM 9B?
The RTD information page still lists TOM 9B for a change of owner; the transfer form the RTD currently publishes is coded TOM 9Γ (9G).
How much does the transfer cost?
The RTD lists a fee of €8.54 for the change of registration.
Do seller and buyer have to go together?
No. If both attend, the clerk witnesses the signatures against their ID cards; otherwise each signature is certified by a community leader or certifying officer.
What do I bring besides the form?
The registration certificate, an insurance certificate valid for more than three months after the transfer, and the fee receipt; TOM 120A if there is no valid MOT.
