The Cyprus lawyer entrusted with incorporating the company. Founders do not sign HE1 themselves.
What goes with it
- Form HE2 (registered office address) and form HE3 (first directors and secretary)
- Memorandum and articles of association, signed in Greek (or a document naming Table A, if adopted as the articles)
- Certified translation of the memorandum and articles, if you want certified copies in another language
- Permission or consent of the competent authority, if a word in the name or the activity requires it
- Form HE5 (consent of directors) for a public company, with €20
- Fee: €165, or €235 for a company without share capital; €100 more to accelerate

Common mistakes
- Filing before the name is approved. The approved name and its application number go on HE1.
- Signing HE1 without swearing it. It must be sworn before the court.
- Filing HE1 alone. The company is registered only with HE1, HE2, HE3 and the memorandum and articles.
- Paying the printed £5. The current fee for the incorporation forms is €165 (€235 without share capital).
- Spelling the company name differently from the approval.
