Who fills it in
Any Cyprus company whose directors or secretary change, or whose officers' personal details change. An officer who has left can also file it with an affidavit if the company fails to.
What goes with it
- The secretary's declaration that all changes agree with the company's register kept at the registered office
- Fee: €20, plus €20 for acceleration
- If the company has not notified a vacancy within 14 days: an affidavit by the resigning officer or, after a death, their representative, with a further €20 (€40 in total)

Common mistakes
- Filing after 14 days. The Registrar can charge up to €50 plus €1 a day, to €250.
- Recording an appointment but forgetting the matching resignation of the outgoing officer.
- Forgetting the secretary's declaration.
- Changing an officer's address on HE4 but not the company's registered office, which needs HE2.

How long do I have to file HE4?
14 days from the date of the change.
How much does HE4 cost?
€20, plus €20 for the accelerated procedure. Late filing can add up to €50 and €1 a day, to €250.
Can a director who resigned file HE4 if the company does not?
Yes. If the company does not notify the vacancy within 14 days, the officer (or their representative after a death) can file an affidavit with HE4, paying €20 for each document.
Can I file HE4 online?
Yes, through the Registrar of Companies' e-filing system, or by hand or post.
