Cyprus companies that have never been active or have ceased to be active, with all annual returns filed and all fees for keeping the company on the register paid.

Common mistakes
- Applying with annual returns or annual fees outstanding. The declaration says they are all filed and paid.
- Leaving assets or a bank balance in the company. On dissolution its property passes to the Republic.
- Writing the company name or number differently from the register; the form is then not accepted.
- A non-Greek speaker ticking the Greek declaration. Tick the English box instead.
- Dates written in another format. The checklist asks for dates like 01/01/2001.
Questions
How long does a strike-off take in Cyprus?
The Registrar publishes a notice in the Official Gazette; if no one objects, the company is struck off when three months from the publication have passed, and this is published too.
How much does HE60 cost?
€20.
Can I withdraw a strike-off application?
Yes, by filing form HE61 before the three months from the Gazette notice run out.
How do I prove the company was struck off?
Order certified copies or certificates of the company from the Registrar.
Who signs HE60?
A director authorised by the board.
