How to book an appointment in Larnaca

Email larnacaetiseis@police.gov.cy at least one month before your permit or visa expires. One request covers the whole family. In capital letters, give each person's name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, date of last arrival, ARC and file number if any, permit expiry date, the number of applicants and a local phone number.

The reply arrives within five working days, and changes or cancellations go through the same email. If you are an EU citizen who has just arrived, remember the four-month deadline for the Yellow Slip and send the request early.

Practical tips for the Larnaca office

Practical advice, not official rules.

  • Check your district before you email. Each unit serves only residents of its own district, so an Ayia Napa address belongs with Paralimni.
  • Get the rental contract stamped and the utility account in your name before the appointment. These are the items most often missing from a Yellow Slip file.
  • Arrive before 13:30 with the printed forms, originals and copies.
  • Decisions and cards are sent by post, so keep your address up to date with the department.
