Common mistakes
- Leaving fields blank. The form's footnote says all fields are required.
- Giving an address where nobody collects post, so you miss letters about your file.
- An email address with a typo, or one nobody checks.
- Not signing it, or a different address from the one in the main application without a reason.
Questions
Where can I download the Declaration of Mailing Address?
It is a one-page PDF listed on the Migration Department's forms pages, for example the MEU1, visitors and BCS pages on gov.cy. The current version is dated 19 March 2025.
Can I use my lawyer's or agent's email?
Yes. The form says the email does not need to be the applicant's own; a representative's or relative's email may be given, and you can list more than one.
Can I fill it in in English?
Yes. The labels are in Greek and English.
Is the form free?
Yes. There is no separate fee for the declaration; you pay only the fee of the application it goes with.
