Long term rentals Nicosia: help finding and checking a rental

We shortlist homes in Nicosia through a licensed estate agent, check the rental terms and handle the deposit and utilities.

For a long term rent in Nicosia, water comes from EOA Lefkosias (NDLGO) at 84 Athalassas Ave, Strovolos, and electricity from the EAC Supply centres in Nicosia and at the Strovolos head office. We check the lease and the inventory before you pay a deposit, then move both accounts into your name.

  2. 2

    Viewings

In person or by video; a licensed estate agent shortlists flats that fit the brief and asks the year the building was finished.

  3. 3

    Contract check

Before you sign, an advocate can check the length, notice, deposit and rent increases. Buildings finished after 31 December 1999 are outside the Rent Control Law, so the contract alone sets these terms.
