Declaration number of supported family members Cyprus: the Pink Slip form explained

The declaration of the number of supported family members tells the Migration Department which family members you will support in Cyprus while you hold a visitor permit (Pink Slip). The department uses it to work out how much income you need, because the required amount grows with each spouse and child.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving out a child or spouse who lives with you. The required income rises by 20% for a spouse and 15% per child.
  • Passport numbers that differ from the passports handed in with each family member's own application.
  • Submitting it without the summarized statement of income, which the checklist pairs with it.
  • Listing people you will not actually support in Cyprus.

Questions

Where do I download this declaration?

From the Migration Department's visitors forms page on gov.cy, listed as 'Declaration – number of supported family members'. It is a one-page Word (.doc) file.

Why does the department need it?

The visitor permit checklist asks for at least €24,000 a year for one person, plus 20% for a spouse and 15% for each child. The declaration tells the officer how many people your income must cover.

Do my family members still need their own applications?

Yes. A spouse or child applies in their own purpose category on MVIS8; this declaration only supports the income check.
